Jackie and Simon look forward to welcoming you to Natal House Bed and Breakfast, Polperro. With a choice of four bedrooms, we offer you traditional Cornish bed and breakfast accommodation in our beautiful home, just a short stroll from Polperro’s picturesque, historic harbour. lt’s simple to find Natal House with easy access by road and our own car parking right outside the front door. We’re perfectly situated to relax and enjoy all that Polperro has to offer, and we make a great base from which to explore the rest of Cornwall and west Devonshire.
If you are looking for a well earned rest from the daily routine, a short stopover while walking the South West Coast Path, or even a romantic break, you will find all you need at Natal House Bed and Breakfast. Whatever your reasons for staying with us, you will always find a warm welcome from Jackie and Simon.
Why the name Natal House?
Natal House derives its name from the Natal Province of Kwa-Zululand, South Africa and was built in 1923 by Cornishman Mr Hockin upon returning to his roots after a lifetime in the colonial service. In the mid-1980s, the house was converted into a small hotel and has latterly been run as a bed and breakfast.
The accommodation
We offer four comfortable en-suite double bedrooms – each with a flat-screen TV + DVD player, tea and coffee making facilities, a hairdryer, soft-as-down duvets and fluffy white towels. (See the links below for details of each room.)
Natal House is strictly non smoking.
We’re sorry, but we do not take pets or children under 10 years of age.
Breakfast
Our full English breakfast is served between 08:00 and 09:00.
We offer a range of breakfast options including cereals, yogurts, fresh fruit and of course our Full English, cooked by Simon, and which is absolutely scrummy.
We aim to use locally sourced produce wherever possible. We are also happy to attend to any special dietary needs upon your advice.
Tariffs
Our room prices start at £120.00 per night based on two people sharing an en-suite bedroom, including breakfast and free on-site parking.
Please note: minimum 2-night stays may apply at certain times of the year. For rates and availability on Bank Holidays, Christmas, New Year, etc, please contact us.
If staying in your preferred room is important to you, please check the calendar for that room to establish its availability before booking.
Terms
A 50% deposit is required when making a reservation, with the balance payable on arrival.
In case of cancellation we are afraid that we can only make a refund if we can re-let your room. (Holiday insurance should be considered to cover unforeseen circumstances.)
If, for any reasons beyond our control – eg, fire, theft or other damage to our property – we are unable to fulfill your reservation, then we will refund in full all monies paid.
